OpenStack UI 1.0 RC1 - QuickStart

Summary

OpenStack UI is a GWT UI intended to be a base platform to integrate OpenStack related services.

It's built upon OpenStack Java SDK.

Download

• Download standalone prepackaged war (25.1MB)
• Clone or fork at http://github.com/woorea/openstack-ui

Installation

The OpenStack UI has been tested only with devstack stable/essex branch

DevStack Installation

• #git clone https://github.com/openstack-dev/devstack.git
• #cd devstack && ./stack.sh

Execute OpenStack UI Standalone

• java -jar ui.war -httpPort 8080
• The very first time you have to go to:
  http://localhost:8080/ui/setup in order to configure the identity endpoints
• You can access to openstack-ui using:
  http://localhost:8080/ui/

The config screen allow you to specify where are your identity endpoints, and the admin token you specified when you installed devstack
